However, the joint team of ToDo and Esper Bionics proved that speed is not always the enemy of quality. We actually launched the system in 2 months and 22 days - and we did it without losing any stability or functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who are Esper Bionics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Esper Bionics is a Ukrainian startup that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esperbionics.com\/ukraine\">creates bionic prostheses<\/a> and operates in the Ukrainian and US markets. Departmental leaders were involved in the process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Description of business processes<\/strong><br>The team documented all processes in detail, from production planning to product sales.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Overlaying processes on the product life cycle<\/strong><br>This is the most difficult but most valuable stage. the first demonstration of the system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>June 11, 2024 - project launch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>End of July - MVP model agreed upon<br>September 2, 2024 - launch of the system in production<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>September 20, 2024 - release of 100% functionality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In total, the integrator worked 500-600 hours.<br>It took 2 months and 22 days from the start to the full launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Success secret #3: operational modeling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We worked in a cyclical approach:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collection of requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discussion with the Esper Bionics team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Process modeling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instant demonstration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis and decision - adapt the process or modify the code<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The priority is to minimize customization and maximize adaptation to the basic Odoo functionality.<br>This approach required more involvement in the beginning, but it helped to avoid risks and ensure a smooth launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Human factor: fear of change and how it was overcome<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Any ERP implementation is not only a technical but also a psychological process.<br>Esper Bionics also had concerns:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>fear of change and new interfaces;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>risk of team overload;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the possibility of delaying the process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>But when the system went live, the reaction was the opposite of what we expected:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\"Everything went like clockwork,\" recalls Maksym Biletskyi, \"We avoided any riots against the new ERP system thanks to such a quick implementation.\"<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">After the launch, it's not over yet<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After the official start, the team spent another 18 days \"gaining momentum\":<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>conducted additional training;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>launched new processes;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>tested the introduction of new products;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>was improving the system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"920\" height=\"613\" src=\"https:\/\/todo.ltd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16475\" srcset=\"https:\/\/todo.ltd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image.png 920w, https:\/\/todo.ltd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/todo.ltd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-768x512.png 768w, https:\/\/todo.ltd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-18x12.png 18w, https:\/\/todo.ltd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-600x400.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 920px) 100vw, 920px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The answer to the main question is yes, but with conditions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Fast ERP implementation is possible if four key conditions are met:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepared client<br>- business processes are described,<br>- Process owners are identified,<br>- the only contact person with decision-making authority.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to adapt<br>- Understanding that not everything can be done \"like a copycat.\"<br>- readiness to adapt to the system's standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experienced integrator team<br>- knowledge of basic functionality,<br>- fast response,<br>- the ability to find optimal solutions without unnecessary modifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Focus on the MVP<br>- Only critical functionality is implemented,<br>- expansion - after the launch.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The formula for success<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>6 months of preparation + 3 months of implementation + MVP approach + experienced integrator = a working ERP system in three months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Esper Bionics case proves that fast ERP implementation is possible.
