Most recently, the ToDo team attended one of the largest ERP events of the year - the Odoo Experience 2023 conference in Brussels. For three days, developers, integrators, and users from all over Europe shared their experience, discussed automation challenges, and learned about key updates.
This year, the main topic was the release of Odoo 17 - the latest version of the ERP system of Belgian origin.
What did you present at Odoo Experience?

The development team traditionally presented a new version of ERP, which they have been working on for a year. The main updates include an updated interface, improvements in the CRM, production, e-commerce modules, and integration with popular services.
Integrations with artificial intelligence
The real breakthrough was two new AI integrations:
- ChatGPT in the website builder: now you can generate texts for website pages in a couple of clicks
- Document Recognition in WhatsApp: Incoming image processing technology automatically generates invoices based on sent messages
Electronic document management
Odoo 17 has expanded its document management capabilities with new modules and improvements for easier file management within the system.
Practice at the stands and live communication with developers
After the presentations, the participants were able to test all the new features at a hands-on workshop. The thematic stands allowed us to ask questions directly to Odoo developers and analysts, and we took full advantage of this opportunity.
We are delighted with the scale, organization and value of this event. We have already begun to implement the knowledge gained in our practice.
